He returned to Pakistan and there has been no stopping him since. With ten television serials in his pocket, a feature film, many nominations and awards, he chooses his projects carefully and makes sure they make a significant mark.
From moving epic romances, fantasy love stories, historical period drama to hilarious, colourful comedies, Haissam does it all with such a passion and commitment that it is etched in the viewers memory forever and catapults itself to success.
Haissam also represented Pakistan in the 2013 Olympiad as Director of Shakespearean romcom Taming of the Shrew, titled Illaji Zid Dastiyaab Hain, which showed at London’s Globe Theatre during the Olympics. It reviewed accolades and was recognized as one of the most romantic and progressive renditions of Taming ever done by critics and theatre lovers in London. He has recently directed a one act play “Lorilie” which gained tremendous reviews by the theater critics.
